Scientific interests

• Computational tools to describe Auger transition: inclusion of the valence hole-hole correlation and of the spin-orbit coupling for the core levels. Calculation of the angular resolved Auger spectral lineshape for magnetic adatoms and supported clusters in order to distinguish different features due to inequivalent adsorption sites.
• Auger deexcitation of slow metastable helium atom (He*) in the triplet state on metal substrate. Spin dependent lineshape of the deexcitation spectrum.
